The invention relates to a table panel for an aircraft passenger seat, wherein the table panel comprises a panel component (35, 36) having two opposite main faces, the main faces being delimited by a component edge having straight edge sections. According to the invention, the panel component (35, 36) has a large number of material cutouts (42) that are separate from one another, such that, in relation to a solid-material panel which corresponds to the panel component (35, 36) in thickness and in base area and which has a starting volume of the solid material, the panel component (35, 36) has a reduced mass, wherein the material cutouts (42) are each open in relation to a main face of the panel component (35, 36), and wherein the sum of the volumes of all the material cutouts (42) in the panel component adds up to a cutout volume of the panel component (35, 36), the cutout volume of the panel component (35, 36) being at least 20 percent of the starting volume.
