A modular furniture system. The modular furniture system may include a first chair portion, the first chair portion may include a first base portion and a first upper portion positioned atop the first base portion; a second chair portion, the second chair portion may include a second base portion and a second upper portion positioned atop the second base portion; and wherein the first chair portion and the second chair portion may be configurable together to form a single piece of furniture, the formed single piece of furniture having a continuous vertical wall about a periphery thereof.
