The invention relates to a method for fixing a guide sheath (14) of a cable (13) for actuating the distal head of a medical device, the method comprising the following steps: - providing a housing (3a) having at least one column (16) made of a thermoplastic material for fixing a support sheath (14); - arranging from the terminal portion of the column (16) a groove (17) that extends radially therethrough to allow the insertion of the support sheath (14); - positioning the support sheath (14) of the actuating cable inside the groove (17) while a free end (161) extends out of the column; - heating at least the free end of the column (16) and applying a pressure to the column to ensure the attachment of the support sheath (14) to the housing (3a) by means of welding.
