The present invention provides a curable dental composition and a cured product thereof, the curable dental composition having sufficient fluorescence, being capable of highly aesthetic restoration that harmonizes with the surroundings so as to be indistinguishable from natural teeth, having excellent discoloration resistance in an oral environment, or under an accelerated heating condition or a xenon lamp light exposure condition, being less likely to be inactivated in fluorescence even under said conditions, and having sufficient mechanical strength and X-ray contrast as a restoration material, and having good polishability. The present invention pertains to a curable dental composition containing a polymerizable monomer (A), an inorganic filler (B), a polymerization initiator (C), and a fluorescent agent (D), wherein the fluorescent agent (D) contains a 9- to 11-membered benzo-condensed heterocyclic compound (excluding benzoimidazole compounds) containing at least 2 heteroatoms.
