This power supply device comprises: a battery stack in which a plurality of secondary battery cells are stacked; a pair of end plates covering both end surfaces of the battery stack; and a plurality of fastening members (4) which are respectively disposed on the opposite side surfaces of the battery stack and fasten the end plates to each other. The fastening member (4) comprises: a fastening body (6) extending in the stacking direction of the secondary battery cells; and a locking block (5) fixed to the inner surfaces of both end portions of the fastening body (6) in the longitudinal direction. The end plate has, on the outer peripheral surface, a fitting part through which the locking block (5) is guided and is provided with a stopper part abutting on the locking block (5). The fastening member (4) has, in a joint interface between the fastening body (6) and the locking block (5), a local joint region (15) joined at a portion of a joint area and a surface joint region (16) joined at the entire joint area, and fixes the fastening body (6) and the locking block (5).
