Provided is a drum washing machine, which prevents the weight of the balance counterweight from being concentrated at the screw welding portion of the outer tub. The drum washing machine has: a machine body (10); an outer tub (20) provided with a drum (22) for accommodating laundry in a freely rotating manner; outer tub support platforms (30) which are connected to the machine body (10) by means of a plurality of shock absorbers (28) and swingably support the outer tub (20); outer tub bands (31, 32) fixed to the outer tub support platforms (30) by welding, and extending along the outer circumferential surface of the outer tub (20); and a balance counterweight (D) connected to one ends (31a, 32a) and the other ends (31b, 32b) of the outer tub bands (31, 32) at the upper portion of the outer tub (20).
