본 발명은 배터리 진단 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 배터리의 방전 및 충전을 수행하는 전력 변환부, 및 전력 변환부를 제어하여 배터리를 방전 및 충전시키고, 배터리의 방전 및 충전 시 측정되는 배터리의 전압 및 전류를 토대로 배터리의 최대 방전 출력 및 최대 충전 출력을 산출하여 배터리의 출력 열화를 진단하는 제어부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.

The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for diagnosing a battery, and comprises: a power conversion unit for discharging and charging a battery; and a control unit for controlling the power conversion unit to discharge and charge the battery, and diagnosing power fade of the battery by calculating a maximum discharging output and a maximum charging output of the battery on the basis of a voltage and a current of the battery measured during discharging and charging of the battery.
