The purpose of the present invention is to provide a configuration with which it is possible to improve the reliability of a display device. This display device includes a first substrate having a pad, a second substrate having a shield electroconductive layer, and a conductor connected to the pad and the shield electroconductive layer. The first substrate includes a first wiring provided beneath the pad, and the pad includes an organic insulating film provided so as to cover the first wiring, and a transparent electroconductive film provided on the organic insulating film. The transparent electroconductive film includes a first transparent electroconductive film provided on the organic insulating film, and a second transparent electroconductive film connected to the first transparent electroconductive film. The first transparent electroconductive film is provided so as to avoid a portion above the first wiring in a plan view, and the second transparent electroconductive film is provided so as to cover a portion above the first wiring and a portion above the first transparent electroconductive film in the plan view.
