L'utilisation d'un matériau solide de type HDL/HBS dans une cellule électrochimique pour la capture et/ou la libération sélective d'une espèce anionique. Un procédé de capture et/ou de libération d'une espèce anionique par utilisation d'un matériau solide de type HDL/HBS, assisté par électrolyse dans une cellule électrochimique. L'espèce anionique est, en particulier, dérivée du CO 2 en solution. L'invention porte également sur un composé de type Brugnatellite HDL et de formule Mg 8.2 Fe 2 (OH) 18.4 (CO 3 ) 2 ,(4H 2 O).

The invention relates to the use of an HDL/HBS-type solid material in an electrochemical cell for capturing and/or selectively releasing an anionic species. The invention further relates to a method for capturing and/or releasing an anionic species using an HDL/HBS-type solid material, said method being assisted by electrolysis in an electrochemical cell. The anionic species is, in particular, derived from solution-based CO2. The invention also relates to a Brugnatellite HDL-type compound of formula Mg8.2Fe2(OH)18.4(CO3)2,(4H2O).
