Provided in the present application is an automatic beveling machine, configured to bevel a workpiece. The beveling machine comprises: a feed port, linear guide rails, a positioning mechanism, a work station, an automatic gripper mechanism, a grinding rod, and a discharge port. The linear guide rails have one end connected to the feed port and the other end connected to the discharge port. The positioning mechanism and the work station are provided on the linear guide rails. A workpiece enters the linear guide rails from the feed port and passes the positioning mechanism, and the positioning mechanism performs position alignment and calibration on the workpiece. The automatic gripper mechanism grips the workpiece whose position has been aligned and calibrated, and moves the same to the work station. The grinding rod performs a beveling grinding operation on the workpiece on the work station. The beveled and ground workpiece travels along the linear guide rails and is output from the discharge port. Also provided in the present application is a beveling method using the automatic beveling machine.
