Un dispositif d'affichage tête haute (1) comprend une unité de génération d'image (3) conçue pour émettre un faisceau lumineux, destiné à être projeté en sortie du dispositif d'affichage tête haute (1) en direction d'une lame partiellement transparente (2) et une cellule à cristaux liquides (7) disposée sur le trajet dudit faisceau lumineux. A head-up display device (1) comprises an image generation unit (3) designed to emit a light beam intended to be projected from the output of the head-up display device (1) toward a partially transparent plate (2) and a liquid crystal cell (7) disposed in the path of said light beam. The head-up display device also comprises a polarising filter (5), interposed in the path of the light beam between the image generation unit (3) and the liquid crystal cell (7).
