Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may identify a target cell for radio connection reestablishment using stored information identifying at least one base station that stores a radio connection context of the user equipment, wherein the target cell is provided by a particular base station of the at least one base station, and wherein the stored information is determined by the user equipment; and perform radio connection reestablishment with regard to the target cell.
