The invention concerns the use of a bisphosphonate to treat, mitigate or prevent the side effects associated with, or mediated by, the use of a Wnt secretion inhibitor to treat cancer or fibrosis; a method of treating, mitigating or preventing the side effects associated with, or mediated by, the use of a Wnt secretion inhibitor to treat cancer or fibrosis comprising the administration of a bisphosphonate; a combination therapeutic comprising a Wnt secretion inhibitor and a bisphosphonate; and a therapeutic treatment regimen comprising the use of a Wnt secretion inhibitor and a bisphosphonate.
