A tissue filtration device (100) may include an elongate hollow needle assembly (102) having open distal (114) and proximal (116) ends. In some cases, the tissue filtration device may include a collection device (104) containing a filter material (128) and coupled to the elongate hollow needle assembly and in fluid communication with the elongate hollow needle (108). Also included may be a suction assembly (106) coupled to the collection device and configured to draw fluid from the elongate hollow needle assembly into the collection device.
