Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Carbonylierung von Allylalkoholen bei niedriger Temperatur, niedrigem Druck und/oder niedriger Katalysatorbeladung. In einer alternativen Ausführungsform wird zur Carbonylierung ein Acylierungsprodukt des Allylalkohols eingesetzt. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ebenfalls die Herstellung von Folgeprodukten dieser Carbonylierungsprodukte und speziell von (-)-Ambrox.

The present invention relates to a process for the carbonylation of allyl alcohols at low temperature, low pressure and/or low catalyst load. In an alternative embodiment, an acylation product of allyl alcohol is used for carbonylation. The present invention also relates to the production of secondary products of these carbonylation products and specifically (-)ambrox.
