The present invention concerns a wheel (1) construction as well as a method for making such a wheel (1) construction for e.g. a construction or agricultural machine, such as a tractor, wherein the wheel (1) construction at least includes a wheel rim (2) made up of a rim ring (2) for mounting a first tyre and further includes a hub plate (3) which at its outer periphery (11) is fixed to the rim ring (2) at a distance XI from an annular edge thereof, and extending internally in the first rim ring (2) between the rim ring (2) and the central axis of the first wheel rim (rotary axis of the wheel rim), the first hub plate (3) at an inner periphery (9) including a number of holes (8) and a contact face for mechanical and detachable fixing to either a central hub plate (4) or directly to a hub of a vehicle.
