The invention concerns a combined power plant (1) for supplying energy into a non-local power grid (5), comprising at least one turbine power plant (2) and at least one energy-storage system (3) having one or a plurality of energy-storage modules (31), the turbine power plant (2) being connected in order to supply (E2) power to the non-local power grid (5) and comprising a monitoring unit (22) which, by means of a speed-specific characteristic (KD), monitors a speed of rotation of the turbine (21) at least during the supply of power (E2) into the non-local power grid (5), the energy-storage system (3) being separate or connected via the turbine power plant (2) to the non-local power grid (5), the monitoring unit (22) being connected to a control unit (32) of the energy-storage system (3) in order to transmit a characteristic signal (KS) on the basis of the speed-specific characteristic (KD) to the control unit (32) via a data link (4), and the control unit (32) of the energy-storage system (3) being provided in order to cause the latter, on the basis of the characteristic signal (KS), to feed additional power (E3) into the non-local power grid (5) if the speed of rotation of the turbines (21) decreases.
