Methods and apparatus are disclosed for scheduling refueling of a work machine. An example method disclosed herein includes determining (340) a plurality of potential costs of refueling a work machine (110) at a plurality of locations based at least in part on a location of the work machine, a location of a refueling machine, an energy reserve of the work machine, and an energy consumption rate of the work machine to perform one or more tasks of a mission, the energy consumption rate being based at least in part on one or more task parameters, and selecting (350) a refueling location from the plurality of locations based on the plurality of potential costs.
