The present invention regards an articulated structure to be used for providing armchairs, chairs, seats, wheelchairs for the disabled and other similar products. It has the function of eliminating tension between the lumbar and dorsal vertebrae and it is of the type which allows the seated person to assume an "overturned N" position which allows the extension of the muscles and of the connected tendons, helps spacing the vertebrae and sooth the intervertebral discs. The entirety occurs respecting the morphology of each seated person. Such articulated structure is characterised in that it comprises a lumbar support (7), having the shape of the lumbar lordosis and moveable vertically, a tilting seat (2), inclinable with an inclination below 90° with respect to the backrest (3) and a step/footrest (5) for conferring to the knees an angle below 90°.
