The present invention relates to a grammatical error simulation device and method, wherein the device comprises: an error probability assigning unit for assigning a grammatical error probability for each word forming a standard sentence; an error type determining unit for determining a grammatical error type for each word forming a standard sentence; and an incorrect sentence generating unit for applying errors according to the determined grammatical error types to each word forming a standard sentence, and generating incorrect sentences in which grammatical errors are reflected. According to the present invention, sentences can be generated which include actual grammatical errors reflecting the grammatical knowledge of each level of learner.
