Method for the production of an impermeable and breathable semi-finished article (11) which, together with an outsole (20), subsequently forms a shoe (10), comprising the following steps: forming an assembled piece (14) by means of assembly of a breathable upper (15) with an impermeable and breathable membrane (17) and a breathable lining (19); forming a semi-finished article (11) by means of mounting of the assembled piece (14) on an insole (16) so that the outer edge of the membrane (17) projects from the edge of the upper; and spraying the bottom part of the semi-finished article (11) with a mixture comprising a reactive polymer material.
