摘要：
An image error covering method for video decoding is disclosed, which involves the following steps: detecting whether a decoding error happens to a Slice Data; performing statistics for the sum of wrong macro blocks happening to the Slice Data, if detecting that a decoding error happens to the Slice Data; generating a corresponding jumping macro block encoding flow according to the sum of wrong macro blocks; and decoding the jumping macro block encoding flow. Also, a video decoder is disclosed. The encoder encodes a segment of the total Skip code flow, and collocates it into the lower layer of the Slice for being decoded, so as to realize the repairing function for a wrong image, under the condition of error happening to the Slice Data, by utilizing the method for realizing image error covering for video decoding and video decoder supplied by the embodiment.
