The invention relates to a vehicle seat (2) comprising an optionally longitudinally adjustable and lockable seat part (4), and a back rest (8) which is arranged on the seat part (6) by means of a mounting (6) in such a way that the inclination thereof can be adjusted and the back rest can be locked in the adjusted inclined position. The vehicle seat also comprises an electrical unlocking device (10) for releasing at least one of the locking mechanisms. A mechanical emergency unlocking device (12) is also provided in addition to the electrical unlocking device (10).
