Sole Unit There is disclosed a sole unit (12) for an article of footwear (10). The sole unit has a forward part (13) and a rear, heel part (14). There is a lateral slot in the heel part, in which is received a resilient disc (50). The disc (50) has areas of different resilience and can be rotated in the slot to selectively present different areas in a rearmost position.
