This invention relates to a kind of inter-axle split-torque limited-slip differential comprises an epicyclic train which is composed of a differential case (1), sun gear (2), planetary pinions (3), ring gear (4). Bores (51) are made in the planet carrier (5), and the planetary pinions (3) are settled in the bores in the planet carrier with snug fit. The top lands (31) of the planetary pinions (3) and the wall of the bores (51) made in the planet carrier (5) compose plural friction pairs. The differential according to this invention is characterized by its slip limit ability being proportional to the input torque, compact structure and easier maintenance.
