An adjustable threading tool assembly. A cutting insert holder (24) is adjustably held in a pocket in a toolholder (10). The cutting angle of the insert (25) can be set by selecting a precision ground washer (53) that sets the position of a retaining bolt (50) that holds the inse in the pocket such that the desired angle is provided.
