An analytical apparatus is provided that includes a carriage (110) and a plurality of electrospray probes (100) pivotably mounted on the carriage (110).Movement of the carriage (110) engages a feature with a selected one of the electrospray probes (100a) whereby movement of the feature pivots the selected one of the electrospray probes (100a) with respect to the carriage (100).
