The invention relates to an adjusting screw for adjusting furniture fittings which serve as hinges. The inventive adjusting screw comprises a threaded part (3, 13, 23, 33, 43, 53), a neck (4, 14, 24, 34, 44, 54) having a smaller diameter than that of the threaded part, and comprises a head (5, 15, 25, 35, 45, 55). The adjusting screw (6, 16, 26, 36, 46, 56) is comprised of parts which are produced by cold extrusion and/or cold heading.
