The invention relates to a transportable massage table whose patient surface is made up of three padded frames which are joined to each other in an articulated manner and when folded receive the support legs between them. The frames, which are of approximately equal size, have ledges and/or ledge parts which extend generally below and alongside the patient surface and at the level of the two outer frames are of such a height that the support legs, which are preferably articulated against the head or foot of the table and thus on the two outer frames of same, can be folded inwards between said frames at least to a significant degree. The ledges and/or ledge parts of the middle frame have cheeks against which the two outer frames are articulated in a transverse manner such that they move inwards. The first outer frame is articulated inwards also in the longitudinal direction and the second outer frame is articulated at a level lower than the first frame.
