The invention concerns a bush which is made of high-pressure-resistant material, in particular metal, and is anchored in a bore in a component made of plastically deformable material, in particular a plastics component (10). The bush comprises at least one hollow-cylindrical body and an outer flange region (14), the shape of the bore (11) matching the outer contour of the bush (12). The component is melted in the region of the flange (14) in order to secure the bush against rotation and/or in position.
