A torch of which the torch body is divided into a torch base and a torch head. A ring is provided rotatably around the outer circumference of either the torch base or the torch head, and another ring is secured to the outer circumference of the other. A locking projection is provided on either of these rings, and a gradient rail is on the other engaging with the locking projection. An elastic member of reinforcing the force of engagement of the gradient rail with the locking projection. The torch head is connected to and disconnected from the torch base by turning the rotatable ring.
