摘要：
The invention concerns an applicator for coating webs of, in particular, paper or cardboard, the applicator having a belt or hose (2), which passes round a support element (3) and a drive roller (4), plus a paper roller (5) round which the web of paper or cardboard passes, a gap (7) being formed between the paper roller (5) and the hose (2) for applying the coating compound to the web. The invention is characterized in that the support element (3) comprises a roller (6) of relatively small diameter with respect to the drive roller (4) and at least one further roller (9, 9', 10) on which the support roller (6) rests.
