A document clip consists of a leaf (1) of elastic material and a tongue (2) forming one piece with the leaf (1) and co-operating therewith, in which the tongue (2) is formed by bending the blank plate of the leaf (1) against its back. To form a bearing edge for the sheets (5) to be clipped, the tongue (2) exerts spring pressure on the inside of the bend against the back of the leaf (1).
