摘要：
A padlock protector (22) for use with swing-out type closures (12). The protector (22) includes a block (26) pivotably connected to one of the lock arm catch and closure member. The block (26) includes peripheral flanges (56) and a recessed body (60) to partially surround the shackle (28) and housing (30) of the padlock and prevents opening thereof by cutting or prying the shackle (28) and separating it from the housing (30).
