A slide fastener device having a filamentary stringer made of plastic material constructed with a series of head portions interconnected with a series of heel portions by spaced leg elements, is attached to a carrier tape by securing threads which include one set of threads passing through one portion of the tape and with a second set of threads passing through another portion of the tape.
