This mobile air purifier (1) is provided with: wheels (9s1, 9s2) for moving a housing (2); drive motors (9m1, 9m2) for driving the wheels (9s1, 9s2); a filter (3) disposed in the upper part of the housing (2) and removing dust in indoor air; a centrifugal impeller (6) provided on the downstream side of the flow of air having passed through the filter (3); and an impeller motor (6m) for driving the centrifugal impeller (6). Air having flowed in from a body intake opening(2i) and passed through the filter (3) is deflected at substantially a right angle and flows into an impeller intake opening (6i) in the centrifugal impeller (6). The lower end surface (6h2) of the impeller (6h) of the centrifugal impeller (6) is provided below the lower end surface (3a) of the filter (3).
