The invention relates to an imaging sensor which is suitable and intended for detecting the position and/or qualities of a component, in particular in a component handling device. Said imaging sensor has at least two detection spectra which deviate from each other. The imaging sensor is in particular suited and intended for detecting quality defects and/or position defects of a component located in the receiving point of a receiving apparatus. Said imaging sensor is suitable for and intended to interact with radiation sources which are coordinated with the imaging sensor in respect of radiation spectrum and radiation incident angle and/or radiation reflection angle relative to the imaging sensor. The imaging sensor is suitable for and designed to provide a separate image acquisition for each of the detection spectra thereof to a downstream image evaluation.
