一種條碼掃描器控制方法，其步驟包含啟動條碼辨識作業，並啟動一影像感測器擷取影像後傳送至一處理器，隨後進行人臉辨識以判斷此影像是否出現一人臉，並且於判斷出現人臉時關閉或禁止開啟一雷射定位器，或是判斷無人臉時開啟或允許開啟雷射定位器，最後決定是否結束條碼辨識作業或是回到人臉辨識步驟。藉此降低雷射定位器傷害人眼的可能性。

一种条码扫描仪控制方法，其步骤包含启动条码辨识作业，并启动一影像传感器截取影像后发送至一处理器，随后进行人脸辨识以判断此影像是否出现一人脸，并且于判断出现人脸时关闭或禁止打开一激光定位器，或是判断无人脸时打开或允许打开激光定位器，最后决定是否结束条码辨识作业或是回到人脸辨识步骤。借此降低激光定位器伤害人眼的可能性。

A controlling method for a barcode scanner includes the following steps. Start a barcode reading process and turn on an image sensor. The image sensor sends the captured images to the processor and the processor carries out a face detection process to determine whether a face exists in the images. The processor turns off or prohibits turning on the laser positioning device when detecting a face appearing in the images. In contrast, the processor turns on or allows turning on the laser positioning device when detecting no face in the images. Finally, determine whether end the barcode reading process or return the face detecting process. As a result, diminish the chance of hurting human eye from the laser positioning device.
