The present invention provides a conductive composition and an electronic component using the same, the conductive composition being capable of maintaining the thickness of a connecting part and capable of maintains the connecting strength of the connecting part. The conductive composition of this invention contains (A) silver particles with a number average particle size of primary particle of 40 nm~400 nm, (B) solvent, and (C) a thermoplastic resin particle having a maximum endothermic peak on DSC chart detected by using differential scanning calorimeter in a range of 80 DEG C ~170 DEG C. The maximum endothermic peak on DSC chart detected by using differential scanning calorimeter of the thermoplastic resin particle is preferably in a range of 110 DEG C ~140 DEG C.
