The disclosure is a time-multiplexed scanning apparatus and 3D display apparatus. The scanning apparatus comprises a bidirectional lens and a polarization switch module. The bidirectional lens has a first and a second transparent material layer. The interface between the first and second transparent material layer is continuously formed a first convex portion toward the first transparent material layer and a second convex portion toward the second transparent material layer. The position offset between the first and second convex portion is equal to half of cycle of waveform formed at the surface. The polarization switch module corresponds to the bidirectional lens, and let the polarization state of incident light in a first and a second polarization state perpendicular to each other at a first and a second time point, so as to enable the incident light to converge the incident light in turn through the first and second convex portion to produce scanning effect.
