A method for recycling molybdenum from molybdenum-containing waste solution is disclosed to promote recycles and treatment efficiency. The method comprises: blending a molybdenum-containing waste solution and an impurity removal reagent, until the phosphorous of the molybdenum-containing waste solution causes a reaction with the impurity removal reagent and product phosphates; filtering the phosphates off and get a molybdenum solution; heating the molybdenum solution to evaporate water inside the molybdenum solution to condense the molybdenum solution until getting crystal phase of sodium molybdate; filtering the sodium molybdate to get pure molybdenum solution; adding mineral acid into the pure molybdenum solution to product molybdenic acid under acid environment.
