There is provided a method for preparing a nanowire having a core-shell structure. The method according to the present invention comprises preparing a metal nanowire dispersion solution in which a metal nanowire is dispersed in polar solvent, preparing a metal precursor solution in which a metal precursor is dissolved in a non-polar solvent, and mixing the metal nanowire dispersion solution with the metal precursor solution. The nanowire having a core-shell structure prepared by the method according to the present invention is comprised of a metal nanowire core and metal particles forming a shell that prevents oxidation of the core metal, has high conductivity, and does not act as a resistance. Thus, it is possible to prevent metal oxidation and secure high conductivity so as to manufacture a nanowire electrode having excellent electrical properties and high transmittance.
