A driving system with complementary multiple motor torque characteristics comprises a driving wheel disposed at a wheel shaft, two motors with the complementary performance, two transmission sets corresponding to the two motors, and a controller electrically connected to the two motors for controlling them. The first transmission set comprises a first input gear and a first output gear engaging with each other. The first input gear, via a clutch mechanism, is disposed at a first core shaft for selectively synchronous rotation, and the first output gear is disposed at the wheel shaft for synchronous rotation. The second transmission set comprises a second input gear and a second output gear engaging with each other. The second input gear is disposed at a second core shaft for synchronous rotation, and the second output gear is disposed at the wheel shaft for synchronous rotation. The controller controls one of the motors to start operation and stop until a second rotation speed, and controls the other motor to start operation from a first rotation speed, wherein the first rotation speed is less than or equal to the second rotation speed.
