The present invention relates to a directional crystal solidification furnace including a crucible having a symmetry axis. The directional crystal solidification furnace disclosed in this invention sequentially comprises a crucible, a heating element, a heat insulation assembly and a heat exchanger along the symmetry axis. The heat insulation assembly sequentially comprises two first shielding panels and two second shielding panels along the symmetry axis. The first shielding panels can carry out translational movement to move away from or return toward each other and the direction of the symmetry axis; and the second shielding panels can carry out translational movement to move away from or return toward each other and the direction of the symmetry axis. The translational directions of the first shielding panels and the second shielding panels are mutually perpendicular.
