This pattern is an apparatus and method for feeding at high temperature and high pressure environment. It is specially designed for jam-free operation continuously and quantitatively. The feeding quantity can be well controlled thanks to an advanced mechanical design and operating strategy. The feeding rate can be controlled as needed, with no need of any weighting device. This function is beneficial to industrial process and production. A genius design is its double-layer structure. The upper layer is for storage and with a set of mechanical string devices to avoid arching. Solids can be quantitatively transported to the lower layer with a set of blades rotating at a given frequency. In addition, a set of high pressure jets equipped and the rotation direction functioned clockwise and counterclockwise, which both can be used to ease the problems of consolidation and arching. Accordingly, the feeding device can be operated automatically and continuously.
