Provided is a process for producing granules of raw materials for glass, the granules having excellent strength, being less apt to generate dust even when pneumatically conveyed to a device for in-flight heating, and being suitable for use in glass production through in-flight melting. Also provided is a process for producing a glass product in which the glass can have high quality and be even in composition. The process, which is for producing granules of raw materials for borosilicate glass production, comprises: the step of preparing a raw-material slurry that comprises raw glass materials including boric acid and a liquid medium in which boric acid is soluble and that has a boric acid content of 5-30 mass% of the solid components of the raw-material slurry and has a pH of 6.6 or higher; and the step of producing granules of the raw materials for glass from the raw-material slurry by spray-drying granulation.
