This invention provides a light diffusion film, which could maintain the good thermal tolerance, mechanical stretch and thickness accuracy of bilateral axis stretch film, and have nice light transparence and light diffusion, and inhibit producing curl after thermal treatment. This invention also provides a light diffusion film characterized in that the light diffusion film includes a bilateral axis stretch stacking layer comprising a support layer formed by crystal polyester and a light diffusion layer stacked by co-press method on at least one surface of the support layer, wherein the light diffusion layer comprises crystal polyester 60-98 mass part and light diffusion additive 2~40 mass part which could not dissolve with polyester, and the surface orientation (&Dgr;P) of light diffusion film is 0.080~0.160, the total light transparence is more than 85%, the haze is more than 30%.
