Provided herein is a medicine distributing device with compact structure for properly distributing medicines regardless of the shape of the medicine. The structure comprising: a device body 1; and a medicine transporting means 3 for transporting the medicines D disposed in plural rows within the device body1 one by one. The medicine transporting means 3 comprises a medicine holding means 40 enabled to move back and forth. The medicine holding means 40 comprising: a supporting means 42; a back and forth moving means 43, being supported by the supporting means 42 and is able to move back and forth toward the device body1; and a holding means 44 supported by the back and forth moving means 43 so as to rotate between the vertical position and the horizontal position relative to the back and forth moving means 43, and having a pair of holding pieces 54 for holding the medicines D.
