本發明係揭示一種經改質之聚酯纖維及其製法，本發明之改質聚酯纖維係包括烷氧化2–甲基–1，3–丙二醇(alkoxylated2–methyl–1，3–propanediol)成分，而具有低溫易染以及不易將染料洗出之特性；該改質聚酯纖維之製法先使烷氧化2–甲基–1，3–丙二醇與烷二醇以及對苯二甲酸或其烷酯進行聚合反應，再經紡絲(spinning)而製得經改質之聚酯纖維。本發明經改質之聚酯纖維可於低溫進行染色，並具有優異之染色力度以及水洗堅牢度，而得以廣泛地應用於合成纖維之製造。

This invention discloses a modified polyester fiber and method for producing the same. The invented modified polyester fiber comprises alkoxylated 2-methyl-1, 3-propanediol, and exhibits characteristics that it is easy to be dyed at low temperature and the dye is not easily washed out. The method of producing the modified polyester fiber comprises alkoxylating 2-methyl-1, 3-propanediol and alkyl diol, performing polymerization reaction for terephthalic acid and alkyl ester thereof, and spinning to obtain the modified polyester fiber. The modified polyester fiber can be dyed at low temperature, has excellent dyeability and water wash fastness, which therefore can be extensively applied to production of synthetic fiber.
