Provided is a system to measure a position of a moving object. The system includes: a tag placed in the front and rear of a moving object; a reader located a predetermined spaced away from the tag, recognizing a tag of another moving object, and then receiving a signal from the recognized tag; and a control part calculating a position relation with the another moving object by applying radio location technology to the received signal. Therefore, the system is capable of providing distance information in real time by identifying a position relation with a pedestrian or another moving unit, and outputting a warning signal when a safety distance is not secured according to the distance information.
